Why Us?
Society's Basement was established in 2023 in San Francisco with the goal of providing music lovers with an alternative to the typical hits of our times. At Society's Basement, we enjoy creating and offering a broad range of carefully selected programming that makes us the best and most diverse radio station in San Francisco .

No no no. that's complete rubbish. The website had that all as prewritten content, but i thought it was HILARIOUS!

Truth is, I'm a 39 year old guy in North Carolina, with a fiancee, two kids, and LOTS of pets. The Society's Basement podcast started in April of 2015, and has gone through a LOT of changes. It's been a whole lot of fun, and I've made a LOT of friends because of it. So I'll keep at it! Check in to my show for the best stuff you probably never heard! :)

Well. A lot of things have been going on in my life, but i still am doing this whole SOCIETY'S BASEMENT thing! Right now the site and the ADVENTURE are going through a few changes, but I'm gonna keep bringing you great DEEP INDIE MUSIC (and maybe more entertaining stuff!)

Just messing with you. I just wanted to take a moment to thank some WONDERFUL people.

First and Foremost, my lovely fiancee Laura. She is the BEST thing that's ever happened to me, no fooling.
​
Also the THREE amazing internet radio stations that feature my show- Manny G's NU ROCK RADIO, M. J.'s EMZT RADIO, and now also KB RADIO! Awesome guys, all of 'em!

Also, the AMAZING support of one Dr. Jimmy Star, and his connections to SPECTRA MUSIC GROUP, WORLDSTAR PROMTIONS, and over a MILLION potential fans.

Also, some other great supporters and promoters of INDIE MUSIC- way too many to mention....
